Over the years, Molloys Plastering has evolved into a business capable of delivering on large-scale commercial projects with high-level complexities. Brandstormer was asked to create a brand strategy and rebuild the website to reflect the capabilities of the business, and to attract more high-end clients.
Molloys Plastering was currently involved with commercial projects that required a high-level of technical proficiency, including the Armstrong Creek Library and Central Geelong Mental Health Hospital projects. We went on-site to capture high-quality images that demonstrated these capabilities on these projects, and presented these images large-scale throughout the website.
The brand messaging focused on a huge competitive advantage the business had over its competitors - a strategic alliance with SPG, a leading plaster supply business that is located under the same roof. Recognising the significance of this partnership, we crafted succinct messaging that outlined factors such as streamlined logistics, enhanced material procurement, and risk-minimisation, all of which are critical factors when working on large-scale commercial projects.
A business can have strategic alliances and capabilities, but without a great culture, everything breaks down. With this in mind, we worked closely with the business to understand the values and the ethos of the business. We found positive aspects everywhere—long-term employees, diverse perspectives, and a genuine passion for what they do. It was clear that nurturing a people-first culture wasn't just a priority; it was ingrained in the DNA of the organisation.
From the engaging visuals to the carefully crafted messaging, we sought to capture the essence of what makes this company what it is—its people. By showcasing the individuality, camaraderie, and dedication of the team members, we not only communicated the company's strengths but also laid the foundation for building lasting connections with clients and stakeholders.
Following the launch, the business owner noted a shift in the impressions that prospects and partners that had of the business after viewing the website. Since the website launch, Molloys Plastering has been invited to bid for projects that were previously considered beyond their capabilities.
